HarrisonParrott is pleased to announce worldwide management of Norwegian soprano Mari Eriksmoen with immediate effect.
Mari Eriksmoen’s international career was kick-started within months of concluding her studies by a debut as Zerbinetta (Ariadne auf Naxos) at Theater an der Wien. She has since returned to the house as Olympia (Les Contes d’Hoffmann), Euridice (L’Orfeo), and Susanna, Zerlina and Fiordiligi in their Da Ponte cycle under the late Nikolaus Harnoncourt.
Elsewhere Eriksmoen has performed Blondchen (Die Entführung aus dem Serail) at Oper Frankfurt, Glyndebourne Festival Opera and at the 2015 BBC Proms; Pamina (Die Zauberflöte) at Festival d’Aix-en-Provence, and premieres next month in Komische Oper Berlin’s new production of Massenet’s Cendrillon as La Fée.
Mari recently debuted at Opernhaus Zürich as Pamina under Fabio Luisi, and will appear for the first time at Bayerische Staatsoper next season as Blondchen. The 2016/17 season also includes staged performances of Haydn’s Die Schöpfung with Laurence Equilbey, as well as guest appearances with Orchestre de Paris under Daniel Harding and the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra under Sir Andrew Davis.
